The girls’ first night at Grey Manor is very unsettling. A serving girl accidentally spills some wine at dinner, and the Earl becomes enraged. The servant girl is led away, crying and terrified. The girls assume that the worst that can happen to a servant is that SHE’ll be fired… until that night when they hear screams echoing through the hallways.

WHAT SORT OF MADHOUSE ARE THEY LIVING IN?

The girls follow the screams downstairs, and discover an amazing secret. The Earl has an entire dungeon under his castle! They find the poor servant girl being horrible abused, but before they can free her, the Earl himself shows up.

The Earl explains that for uncounted generations, his family has used this dungeon to teach “commoners” their proper place. The Earl sees no reason why he should change. He thinks the old ways are correct.

All the girls are captured, and the Earl immediately sets out to “break” them, using his antique dungeon and his horrifying imagination. The girls cannot begin to imagine what’s in store for them.
